Linda Melton Busbin

Linda Melton Busbin, 73, wife of William Larry Busbin, died Monday, October 19, 2015. A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Melton and Mary Hardeman Melton. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Billy Melton. She was the Valedictorian of the 1960 class at Oglethorpe County High School and member of Winterville First Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to her husband include sons: Barry (Joan) Busbin and Jeff (Staci) Busbin; grandson: Chris (Casey) Busbin; great grandson: Easton Busbin; brother: Dub (Betty) Melton: four step grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; sister in law: Virginia Melton and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 2PM at Lord and Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Tac Coley officiating. Burial will follow at Winterville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Busbin, Brad Young, Timothy Patterson, Michael Patterson, Ricky Busbin and Josh Busbin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday, October 20, 2015.
