Linda J. Burnette, 75, of Athens, entered into her heavenly kingdom on April 12, 2020.  A true Godly woman, Linda lived her life fully dedicated to the Lord.

Born in Clarke County and longtime resident of Oglethorpe County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Franklin and Minnie Lou Callaway Ogle and was preceded in death by her first husband, Elder Oldham in 2003.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Ogle, brother, David Ogle, step daughter, Monica Burnette and step son, Jeffrey Burnette.

Linda was a longtime member of Grove Chapel Holiness Church and current member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church.  She was retired from Reliance Electric.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Burnette; son, Daniel (Beverley) Oldham of Arnoldsville; daughter, Cynthia (Nathan) Meadows of Winterville; grandchildren, Mikayla Oldham, Levi Oldham, Jessie Meadows, Tyler Meadows and Nicholas Meadows; brother, Mike (Tammy) Ogle of Arnoldsville; step son, Jonathan Burnette of Monroe; nieces and nephews, Taryn Megan Benton (Tyler), Tristan Michelle Phillips (Brack), Stephanie Ann Carter (Chris), Michael Ogle, Frankie (Alesha) Ogle and Tina (Shannon) Newton; brothers-in-law, Austin (Joyce) Burnette and Darrell Burnette and other extended family.

Due to heightened health concerns, private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park.
