Lexington - Linda Lee Burkhalter, 65, wife of Mack Burkhalter, died Sunday, August 3, 2008.
Born in Birmingham, AL, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Elsie Donaldson Fowler. She was a member of West End Baptist Church and the owner and operator of Linda's Hair Designs for more than thirty years. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John W. Fowler.
Survivors in addition to her husband include one brother; Donny Fowler of Birmingham, AL, grandsons; Allen Stewart, Christopher Lee Stewart, Brandon Blake Stewart; great grandchildren: Bobby Zane Stewart, Tyson Chandler Stewart and Avana Renee Lee Stewart.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating. Burial will follow at Athens Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
