Lily Thielen

Lily Alice Balander Thielen passed away July 16, 2015 at the age of 85. She was born in Lead, South Dakota to Emil and Signe Balander. She is survived by a brother George Balander, sister Frances Rabbe, daughter Sherry Dale, son in law Dan Dale and grandson Christopher Dale.
She was a long time resident of Rapid City, SD and graduated from Deadwood High School in 1948. She worked for Black Hills Power and Light as a payroll clerk until retiring after 33 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Rapid City. For the last 2 years she lived in Watkinsville, Georgia with her daughter and her family. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Athens.
