Lillie Belle Johnson Towe, 69, died Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Rainbow Retirement Home in Arnoldsville, GA.
A native of Carlton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Sanford George Johnson and Suelene Hardman Johnson and the widow of Bennie Edward Towe. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Rosa Lee Johnson.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 6th, at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST with the Rev. Hoyt Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Sandy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her children, Dianne Dixon Myers (Dave) of Carlton, Carla Dixon Michael (Randy) of Arnoldsville, Dennis Dixon (Melissa) of Carlton and Lynn Towe Webb (Joey) of Crawford; nine grandchildren, Letisha Myers Hicks (Brandon), Melissa Myers McClure (Matt), Josh Michael (Hillary), Michael Dixon, Mason Webb, Joseph Webb, Jr., Nathanael Edward Webb, Gavin Dixon and Trinity Dixon; four Brothers: Jimmy Johnson, Herman Johnson (Shirley) and Calvin Johnson (Brenda) all of Carlton and Rev. Hoyt Johnson (Dot) of Monroe, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Randy Johnson, Mike White, Mitch Allen, Trevor Wray, Jimmy McKie and Jimmy Waldroup. Honorary pallbearers will be Jody Johnson, Jeff Johnson and Stan Johnson.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 5th, from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
