Crawford, GA - Lillie Mae Stephens Locklear, 77, passed away Friday, December 5, 2008.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she was a daughter of the late Thelma Patman and N. V. "Jack" Stephens. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Campbell and a sister, Dorothy Sorrell. She was a biscuitmaker at the Biscuit Barn in Athens for many years.
Memorial services will be Monday, December 8, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Herman Nation officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Survivors include a son, David Edmondson and his fiancé, Libby Winterhalter, both of Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Bonnie Stovall of Ila, GA; sister, Annette Stephens Todd of Crawford, GA; brothers, Pete Stephens of Winterville, GA and David Stephens of Sandy Cross, GA; four grandchildren, Brianne Campbell and Ian Campbell, both of Colorado Springs, CO, Jake Stovall and Sam Stovall, both of Ila, GA.
Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
