Danielsville - Lillie Ree James, 86, died December 11, 2009.
A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Zed and Evie Rowe Morris and the widow of Curtis James. She and her husband owned and operated Courtesy Dry Cleaners in Colbert for many years. She was a member of Colbert First Baptist Church. Mrs. James was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Patton and Oralee Morris and three brothers, Charlie Morris, Troy Morris and Lloyd Morris.
Funeral services will be Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Colbert First Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Wilson officiating. Pallbearers will be Bart Combs, Steve Bates, Stanley Bates, Dub Melton, Bill Madden and John Crumley. Interment will be in Colbert Cemetery.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Pat James of Danielsville; sister, Mamie Lou Benton of Colbert; granddaughter, Sheila Davis and her husband Patton of Danielsville; two great grandchildren, Spencer Davis and Alexi Davis.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Colbert First Baptist Church Building Fund.
