Lillian Yarbrough Thomason

Lillian Yarbrough Thomason, 92, of Hull, passed away November 9, 2015. She was the daughter of the late J. G. and Nettie Hart Yarbrough. She is survived by her husband Lance Thomason of 73 years. She was also preceded in death by her son Tony Lance Thomason and her precious grandson, Andrew Lance Thomason. She was the last sibling of eight: Pauline Y. Thompson, Wilma Y. Simmons, Colquitt Yarbrough, Lounette Y. Brown, Joan Y. Melton, Hazel Y. Porterfield and Florence Y. Hart. She was a lifelong member of Hull Baptist Church, Charter Member of Golden Highlights, Ruth's Sunday School Class, Day W.M.U. as well as other organizations. Lillian worked for Madison County Board of Education for 13 years. She has many loving nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews and a loving and caring caregiver, Brenda Tarver of Colbert, GA for four years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 11AM at Hull Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the funeral home. Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
