Lillian C. McElhannon, 87, wife of the late Carlton J. McElhannon, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012.
A native of Athens, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Flora Belle Erwin. She was an inspector at Thomas Textile and of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her children: Deborah McElhannon, Richard McElhannon and Randall McElhannon all of Athens; sisters: Mary Ida Kelley and Geneva Erwin Cape both of Athens; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11AM at Winterville Cemetery with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 Friday, June 1, 2012 at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
