Lesley Maggiore

Watkinsville, GA - Lesley Conway Maggiore, 67, died February 24, 2015.
Born in Miamisburg, OH, she was a daughter of the late Franklin Benham and Erma Lucas Conway.
Lesley was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BS in Family and Consumer Science and member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She, along with her husband Rick, was longtime owner of University Spirit in Athens for the past 40 years and served as the first president of University Spirit of America, Assoc. She was past president of Athens Jr. Woman's Club and president of Harbor Oaks Homeowners Association, St. Simons Island. Lesley's passion was books and she served for a number of years as treasurer of Oconee County Library Friends. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Funeral mass will be Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Oconee Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Conway, Daniel Conway, Kevin Maggiore, Jonathan Kina, Kyle Beaghan and Thomas Royals.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Henry Maggiore; daughters, Lisa Maggiore Royals (Thomas) of Watkinsville and Laura Maggiore Beaghan (Kyle) of Bishop; sister, Karen Dykstra of Athens; brothers, Charles Conway (Sarah) of Murfreesboro, TN and Michael Conway (Carroll) of West Hartford, CT; grandchildren, Taylor Maggiore, Lexi Netterville and Mackenzie Beaghan; brother-in-law Kevin Maggiore, sister-in-law Donna Kina (Paul); nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Conway, Michael Conway, Daniel Conway, Paivi Conway, Kristina Kina, Jonathan Kina, Michael Maggiore.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
