Danielsville - Lera Evans Booth, 102, wife of the late Fred Booth, died Friday, February 22, 2008.
Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Ozzie and Jessie House Evans. She was a homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one son, five sisters, one brother, two grandchildren and one great grandson.
Survivors include her daughters: Imogene Stroud of Clinton, SC, Betty Newsome of Clinton, SC, Joyce Miles of Atlanta, GA, 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 36 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 3PM at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Phillips officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Collins, Roger Collins, Allen Collins, Lamar Evans, David Hilley and Greg Mathis.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or Vista Care Hospice.
