Leonard Melvin Sosbee

Leonard Melvin Sosbee, 80, husband of 62 years to Ann Meeler Sosbee, died on April 16, 2025. Born in Athens, GA he was the son of the late Roy C. Sosbee and Josie Davis Sosbee, brother to late Roy Lee Sosbee and great grandfather to the late Maddox Lee. Leonard was the owner and operator of Sosbee Electric for 47 years and continued to work along side his son until his recent decline in health would not allow him. Survivors in addition to his wife Ann include three children: Ken (Dixie) Sosbee, Trish (Les) Owens and April Sosbee; siblings: Margaret Burns, Josephine King, Bevoline Weathersbee and James Sosbee; grandchildren: Dylan (Julia) Sosbee, Kendal Sosbee and Courtney (Daniel) Lee and great grandchildren: Bentley Lee and Dallas Lee. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 2PM at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ira Jones, Matt Dickens, Mitch Baker, Larry Ansley, Steve Coker and Randall Barnett.
