Leona S. Finch

Leona Finch, 85, of Athens, died Saturday, March 26, 2016. Born in Greensboro NC to the late Arthur A. Scott Sr., and Ellen Stone Scott, Ms. Finch was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Athens.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton V. Finch, and a sister, Norma Ellen Scott. She is survived by her two daughters, Norma (Lane) Fitzpatrick and Clair (John) Butler, brother, Arthur A. Scott Jr., grandchildren, Lael Butler, Abigail (Alfred) Dowell, Sara (Tyler) Pittman, and Sallie Fitzpatrick, and great granddaughter Cora Jane Pittman. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 28th at 3:00 P.M. at Lord and Stephens West Chapel with Rev. John Kipp officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
