Lee Martin Manspeaker, 81, of Athens passed away December 24, 2014.
The best friend I ever had in life is gone. My childhood sweetheart after 60 plus precious years. A friend to many and all who ever met her. A lady in every sense, dressed well and never let her heart problems stop her, always had an encouraging word or song. We have all lost something precious, a really good person. Please join me in honoring a great lady.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens East Chapel.
Lee is survived by her loving husband Will, and daughter Julie L. Essenberg (Tom) and grandchildren, Brian, Chris (Brigid), Amanda, and Janelle Essenberg, Jessica (Colin) Bush, and Jerrame (Amanda) Gillihan, four great grandchildren, and brother Bill (Mary) Martin.
She was preceded in death by sons, Jeff and Scott Manspeaker, and brother Rob Martin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association 1720 Epps Bridge Parkway Suite 108-383, Athens GA 30606.
Lord and Stephens, East is in charge of arrangements.
