LaVerne Moore

Loving wife of Edward T. Moore (1918-1996), mother of daughter Mary Elliott (Sam), son Eddie, and granddaughter Jessica Johnston (Dean). LaVerne was loved in equal measure to the love she gave. Too many friends to count, LaVerne was a trusted friend and confidante to all who knew her. In addition, LaVerne was treasured by many animal companions who instinctively adored and trusted her. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she impacted.
Special thanks to the caregivers at Silverleaf where she lived her final years, the doctors and nurses at Piedmont Regional Hospital, and the compassionate caregivers at Bridgeway Hospice.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park. Lord and Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
