Laverne T. (Teet) Hayes

Laverne T. Hayes, 85, died July 1, 2011.
A native of Greene County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd M. and Thelma Satcher Teet and was preceded in death by two husbands, William G. "Jake" Hayes and John T. Walls, Sr. and son, John T. Walls, Jr. Mrs. Hayes was a member of Antioch Christian Church.
Graveside services will be Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Watkinsville Cemetery with Rev. Don Fuller officiating.
Survivors include four children, Patricia Walls (Roger) James of Danielsville, Randy Walls of Farmington, Greg (Kathy) Hayes of Farmington and Susan Daniel of Royston; four sisters, Zadie Smiddy of Augusta, Anita Miller of Nicholson, Diane Eades of Athens and Sue Robertson of Hampton; brother, F. D. Teet of Roanoke, AL; grandchildren, Sheila James (Patton) Davis, Johnny Walls, Christina King (Josh) Blackstone, Jake Hayes, Jackson (Gracie) Russum and Brittany Daniel; four great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
