Laura Elizabeth Coward

Laura E. Coward, 71, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012.
A native of Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Leyton Bullock and Kathryn Laura Johnson Hunter. Mrs. Coward dedicated much of her life to helping children with learning disabilities and was a special education teacher and the director of the Academic Resource Center prior to her retirement.
Survivors include her children: Juliet Easton of Hull, Diane Ziegler of McDonough, Kathy Kuntz of Memphis, TN; sister: Judi Overstreet of Dunwoody; grandchildren: Laurel Easton, Grace Easton, Elijah Easton, Seth Kuntz, David Kuntz, Jacob Kuntz, Zane Ziegler, Grant Ziegler and Wyatt Ziegler.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 1 pm at St. Gregory The Great Episcopal Church with Rev. Loree Reed officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Extra Special People in Watkinsville.
