Laura J. (boots) Berryman

Athens - Laura J. (Boots) Berryman, 72, died June 9, 2007.
A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Laura Thomason of Ila. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Edward M. Berryman; sister, Candice Thomason and a brother, W. O. Thomason. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She lived her life with grace and quiet dignity. Mrs. Berryman was a homemaker and member of Forest Heights Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 11, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Mrs. Berryman's brother, Rev. W. D. Thomason will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include her son, Eddie Berryman of Danielsville, daughters and son-in-law, Lynn Berryman of Royston, and Cathy and Bruce Clark of Watkinsville; sisters and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Jewell Allen of Charlotte, NC, Eva Craft of Ila; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Louise Thomason, Buddy and Irene Thomason, and Aubrey and Anna Thomason, all of Ila, Caiphas and Jackie Thomason of Watkinsville, Walter and Helen Thomason of Summerville, SC, Rev. W. D. and Jackie Thomason of Murfreesboro, TN; six grandchildren and spouse, Nicole and Kevin Bare, Crystal Berryman, Josh Berryman, Mitch and Sherry Clark, Lauren Clark, and Alex Clark; four great-grandchildren, Cody Bare, Emily Bare, Nathaniel Berryman and Annalise Berryman.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Clark, Mitch Clark, Josh Berryman, Alex Clark, Kevin Bare and Ronnie Bridges.
The family will receive friends Monday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
