Larry S. Ward Sr

Larry S. Ward, Sr., 70, died August 16, 2012.
A native of Cordele, GA, he was a son of W. E. Ward and the late Lucille Masters Ward. He was owner and operator of L.S. Ward and Son's Furniture Company for many years.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST with Rev. Larry Davison officiating.
Survivors in addition to his father include his wife, Linda Ward; two sons, Shel (Michelle) Ward, Jr. and Monte (Judy) Ward; stepdaughter, Robin (Tim) Gailey; brother, Dale (Janell) Ward; grandson, Alex Ward, grandson and fishing buddy, Garrett Gailey; nephew, Brennan "Chris" Ward.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oconee County Republican Party, PO Box 1077, Watkinsville, GA 30677 or Sandy Cross Baptist Church, PO Box 44, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
