He was born July 22, 1945 in Clearwater, FL to Walter "Jay" and Mildred Meeks.
Larry is survived by his wife, Martha Humble Meeks; sons, Jimmy Nacy Meeks and Jason Walter Meeks (wife Jennifer, daughters Robin, Rachel, Sarah, and Samantha); step-daughter, Natalie Knight (husband Brad, daughter Lawryan); sister, Melinda Fink (husband Terry); uncle, Percy Meeks; aunt, Betty O'Neil; two great-grandchildren, and two nieces and great-nieces.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the March of Dimes .
Lord and Stephens, EAST, Athens GA, has charge of arrangements.
