Larry Junior Fowler

Larry Fowler, 76, died August 20, 2023.

A native of Dublin, GA, he was a son of the late A.C. and Emma Simmons Fowler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Darlene Fowler and three siblings, Wayne Fowler, Frances Fowler Mendez and Randall Fowler.

Larry lived most of his life in the Athens area and was a truck driver for Reynolds Trucking for many years.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST with Rev. Brent Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Survivors include four children, Donnie (Margo) Fowler of Colbert, Terry Wayne Fowler, Tracey Fowler (Jeff) Tittle and Jeremy (Nekke) Fowler of Winterville; grandchildren, Christy Foulk, Amber Fowler, Bethany Fowler, Jessica Pinson, T.J. Fowler, Noah Tittle, Bridgette Tittle and Kensea Fowler; six great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors or a veteran’s charity of your choice.
