Lanier Bridges

Lanier Bridges, 88, of Lexington, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Born on January 21, 1932 in Crawford, GA, he was the son of the late George W. Bridges and Sarah Noel Bridges and was the youngest of 10 children. In his later years, he retired as a manager at Western Union in downtown Atlanta.

In addition to his parents, Lanier was preceded in death by 3 sons: Rusty Bridges and 2 infant boys; 2 brothers; and 7 sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Jeanette A. Bridges; granddaughter, Amanda Eve Bridges; and many nieces & nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Crawford Cemetery on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Anthony Watts officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior from 12:00 to 1:30 pm at Lord & Stephens, East.
