Lamar Martin, 63, husband of Jennie Sautter Martin, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
A native of Buford, GA, he was the son of the late Newman Decatur Martin and Floyce Whidby Martin. He spent most of his life teaching and working in the HVAC-R profession and eventually retired doing what he loved to do, fishing and playing with the horses.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his children, Christie (Jamie) Gordon of Toccoa, GA, Joshua Martin of Athens, sister, Jeannine Morris of Braselton, GA; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2 PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel.
