Statham - Lamar Davis, 77, died December 21, 2008.
A native of Walton County, he was a son of the late Allen and Eula Jackson Davis. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jeff Davis and Danny Davis; two brothers, Billy Davis and Larry Davis; and one sister, Grace Stephens. He was a veteran of the United States Navy with service during the Korean War.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Oconee Chapel. Interment will be in Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors include four children, Judy Cook of Statham, James Davis of Covington, Joe Davis of Delaware and John Davis of Louisiana; sister, Libby Luke of Bogart; brother, Donald Davis of Statham; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
