Kloma Brooks, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Tuesday, January 4, 2011.
A native of Auburn, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Hester Emmett Morris. She was the wife of 51 years to the late Joe Loyd Brooks. Mrs. Brooks was good and faithful wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her children and their spouses: Debbie and Godfrey Channell, George and Jane Brooks; brother and sister in law: Mackey R. and Liz Morris; four grandchildren: Trey (Renae') Compton, Dylan Brooks, Savannah Channell, Matthew Brooks and many other children who thought of Mrs. Brooks as a mother.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 7, 2011 at 11AM at the chapel of Lord & Stephens, Danielsville, with Rev. Glen Guest officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Pullian, Jimmy Compton, Fred Martin, Tim Christian, Cory Clements and Ty Martin. Burial will follow at Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
