Kevin Douglas Thain

Kevin Douglas Thain, 56, husband of 33 years to Tammy Benfield Thain, died on September 25, 2024. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, he was the son of Walter Nicholas Thain and the late Barbara Payne Thain and grandfather to the late Malachi Hamilton. Kevin received his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary. He was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church and owner/operator of Car Craft in Athens. Survivors in addition to his wife include six daughters: Ashley (Josh) Hall, Lizzy (Christopher) Hamilton, Sarah Thain, Ruth Thain, Rachel Thain and Sophie Thain and one brother, David Thain. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 2:30PM at Lord and Stephens West Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be private.
