Winterville, GA - Kevin Lee Hale, age 46, passed away October 30, 2011 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Tifton, GA on April 19, 1965, he is the son of Albert and Carolyn Hale. He had been employed with Thaxton Turkey Farm and will be remembered for being an avid gardener and his love for growing flowers. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil and Ollie Hale, Carold and Gertrude Smith, and one brother.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Melissa Hale; children Amber Hale and Clyde Hale; brother Gary Hale; best friends Jason Gresham, Tony Booth, Keith Butler, Katie Stephens and David Browning.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 02, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST, with Rev. Carlton Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at Bowen - Donaldson Home for Funerals in Tifton GA on Thursday, November 03, 2011 from 12:00 until 1:30 PM. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
