Kevin George Coats

Kevin George Coats, born on May 26, 1955 in Newark, NJ, passed away on November 25, 2019 surrounded by his family. Kevin earned a Bachelor's in History from Juanita College in Huntington, PA. In 2001, he moved to Athens, GA. He enjoyed visiting historical reenactments and reading history books. If he was not reading, he was most likely rocking out to popular 1970s rock music. He is survived by his parents, George and Sonja Coats, his sister and brother-in-law, his two daughters and their husbands, as well as his 3-year-old granddaughter. There will be a service celebrating his life on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2PM at Lord and Stephens East Chapel.
