Colbert - Kerry Ross Hill, 44, died August 23, 2009.
A native of Albuquerque, N.M., he was a son of Melvin Hill of Perry, Mich., and the late Gloria Gail Brown Hill. Mr. Hill was employed with Salloum Construction Company for over fourteen years and was an active member of Friendship Presbyterian Church. He also was a frequent participant in Relay For Life activities.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Presbyterian Church with Rev. Mari Turner, Dr. William Mounts and Rev. Jose Torres officiating. A reception will follow at the church.
Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife, Julie Lee Hill; daughter, Rebecca Gail Hill of Colbert; and brother, Kevin Hill of Valdosta, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kerry Hill Educational Fund, c/o Friendship Presbyterian Church, 8531 Macon Hwy., Athens, GA 30606; or the American Cancer Society.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
