Kerrie N. Bramlett, 53, of Athens, died December 26, 2021.
Born in Asheville, North Carolina, Kerrie was the daughter of Rebecca Gibbs Lee of Columbus, GA and Michael Vernon Lee of Asheville, NC. She was a graduate of Asheville Buncombe Technical College. Kerrie had 30 years of banking experience with 17 years of service at Oconee State Bank. She served as Banking Officer/Branch Manager at 3 different locations and most recently as Vice President/Main Office Branch Manager. She was named Officer of the Year in 2012 and Volunteer of the Year in 2019. Kerrie was a Circle Ranch Board Member, 2015 – 2016 and headed up the first fundraising effort – Rubber Ducky Round Up. She served as Chair of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce Business Expo for 10 years and was a Leadership Oconee Graduate.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband, Norman Clay Bramlett; daughter, Amber Bramlett of Athens; son, Zach Bramlett of Jefferson; sister, Tammy Warren and her husband Greg of Ernul, NC; brother, Michael Ecks of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Wesley Pressley, Caleb Pressley and Ava Pressley and niece, Holly Campbell.
The family will receive friends at Lord and Stephens, EAST, Thursday, December 30, 2021 beginning at 12:30 PM. Memorial services will follow in the chapel beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Adam Deaton officiating.
