Commerce - Kent Jeffrey Wolford, 47, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008.
A native of Orange County, Fla., he was a son of Eula J. Parker of Winterville and the late Clarence Washington Wolford and stepson of the late Charles Parker. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Mark Parker. Mr. Wolford attended Cedar Shoals High School.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.
Survivors in addition to his mother include three children, Garret Jeffrey Wolford, Kent Dustin Wolford and April Lynn Wolford all of Commerce; five brothers, Charles Huckabay of Ellington, Fla., Terry Wolford, Scot Wolford, both of Winterville, Mike Parker, John Parker, both of Bishop; nephews and nieces, Joe Huckabay of Winterville, Karen Quarles of Loganville, Kim Barnet of Lexington, Alan Wolford, Adam Wolford, both of Bishop, Stephanie Baird, Kirsten Wolford, both of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SunTrust Bank, 180 Gaines School Road, Athens, GA 30605, for an Educational Fund for his children.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
