Kenneth D. Nation, age 59, passed away on August 11, 2013. He was employed with Reinicke Athens, Inc. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Curley & Dorothy Buffington Nation, and a sister, Martha Berrong.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Carolyn Nation; sister, Carolyn Hutchins; a step-brother and step-sister; two nieces; and one nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East with the Rev. Herman Nation officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Apostolic Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM Tuesday, August 13 at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Kenneth D. Nation Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 5340, Athens, GA 30604.
