Athens - Kenneth Damron, 65, died August 29, 2009. He was the husband of the late June Key Damron. Survivors include children, Angela Ayers, Tiffany Powell, William Damron and Lonnie Damron; stepdaughter, Lisa Peyton; stepson, Nito Peyton; brothers, James and Julius Damron; 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were private under the direction of Lord & Stephens East Chapel.
