It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness the family announces Kelley Michelle Inglett lost her battle with cancer on May 6, 2024. She passed away at her home in Athens, GA with her loving husband of 37 years by her side. Kelley was born on February 7, 1971 and later moved to the Lexington/ Athens area where she worked at UGA and security system companies until she retired in 2018. Kelley loved being outdoors, fishing, going to the beach, and working in her garden. She had a strong love for all animals and spent many years caring for any animal found with no mother to care for them. She was like a bright ray of sunshine when the day came to release her animals back into the wild. Kelley truly loved all her babies. She was a beautiful soul that loved God, her country and her family. She will be a bright light forever shining in the memory of all who she had blessed in this life. Travel well until we meet again.
Kelley is survived by her beloved husband, Jonathan Adam Inglett, her in-laws, Jesse and Dianne Inglett, her sister-in-law, Jessica Williams, as well as her nieces Melissa (Wesley) Boland, Miranda (Bubba) Byrne, and her nephew Michael Burgess. Kelley has 7 great nieces and nephews, Audrey, Ema, Axel, Onyx, Ava, Joseph and Liam. We will all miss her dearly.
Kelley is also survived by her cousins Kim and Chris, her aunt Diane, Uncle Shug and her mother Brenda Robinson.
When you look into the wild and see the sparkle in a squirrel's eye, let that be a reminder Kelley's beautiful memory will never die. She will be in our hearts and memories forever.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. 4355 Lexington Rd. Athens, GA 30605.
