Keion Dowdy, age 7, son of Catrina Doster and Reginald Dowdy and Keionte Gresham, age 4, son of Catrina Doster, died Monday, May 3, 2010. They were both born in Athens.
They were preceded in death by their maternal grandmother, Rachel Doster. Both boys enjoyed playing football and wrestling and Keion attended Colbert Elementary School in Mrs. Ray's Second Grade Class.
In addition to their parents, survivors include; grandparents: Horace Doster of Hull, Dedrick and Joyce Dowdy of Colbert, Irene Gresham of Jefferson; great grandparents: Laura Matthews of Elberton, Sarah Dowdy of Athens; sister: Keishun Gresham of Winder; brother: Dominic Dowdy of Ila; aunts and uncles: Nicole Doster of Hull, Jammie Doster of Maysville, Rodney and Rhonda Dowdy and family of Valdosta, Roderic Dowdy of Colbert, Ricky Doster of Atlanta; great aunts and uncles: Donald and Joyce Doster, Peggy Doster, Linda Thompkins, Thelma Duncan, Waymon and Janet Dowdy, Terisa Martin, Ronnie and Hazel Matthews, Robby and Michael Matthews, Ella Mae Damons; cousins; Betty Jo Shaniera, Daniella Watson, Billy Watson Jr., Judy Williams, Tisha and Larry Starks; extended family and close friends; Mike and Michelle Scarborough, Jenni, Carrie and Stephanie Frady, Gage, Zharia, Brooklyn, Tayia, Jada, Patty and Ken Buntin and family, Elaine Johnson and family and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends also survive.
