Bogart - Kathryn (Kay) Dwyer Slivinski, 96, a resident of St. Marys Highland Hills Village, Bogart, Ga., died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at St. Marys Hospice House.
Mrs. Slivinski was the daughter of the late Della and James Dwyer of Passaic, New Jersey. She was the widow of the late Theodore Slivinski of Passaic, New Jersey and Winter Haven, Florida.
Mrs. Slivinski attended New York City's Mills College of Education and taught school at St. Nicholas Catholic School in Passaic, New Jersey for 31 years.
After retirement, she and her husband moved to Winter Haven, Florida. Upon the death of her husband in 2002, she moved to St. Mary's Highland Hills Village.
Mrs. Slivinski was involved in all the activities of the community and was a friend to all. She especially enjoyed playing bingo and dominos with her friends. She was very fond of her Highland Hills Caregivers, Katie, Karen and Linda.
She will be buried next to her husband in Winter Haven, Florida. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Slivinski is survived by a niece, Patricia Dwyer Barrack (John B.) of Watkinsville, Georgia, as well as step-daughter, Margaret Leach and family of New Jersey. She is also survived by great nephew, John P. Barrack (Marion) and their children, Addison and Andrew of Lilburn, Georgia; great niece, Julie Barrack Bryan (Travis) and their daughter, Savannah of Conyers, Georgia.
