Kay (Ellis) Bernales

Kay Ellis Bernales, 55, wife of 33 years to Roberto I. Bernales, died Thursday, November 23, 2017. Born in Tifton, GA, she was the daughter of Eva Ruth Justice Ellis and the late Jimmie William Ellis. Kay retired from UGA as an Executive Assistant in the Special Education office. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church of God. Survivors in addition to her mother and husband include three children: Krystle (Derek) Shuman of Richmond Hill, GA, Channing (T. Cole) Brown of Athens, GA, Cruzz Bernales of Orlando, FL; brother: Pannell (Christie) Ellis of Statham; granddaughters: Rylee Shuman and Ellison Brown; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017, 5:00pm at Grace Fellowship Church of God.
