Athens - Katie Louise Zeberg, 93, wife of the late John George Zeberg, died Friday, June 22, 2007 at Athens Regional Medical Centers.
Born in Athens, GA, she was the daughter of the late John M. Barry and Jessie Hannah Winemiller. As an active member of Athens First Baptist Church, she was a member of the Jewel Sunday School Class and a Circle Member. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Beussee, Dorothy Amos and brother, John Carlton Barry.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Lynn Zeberg of Martinez, GA, sister, Rosiena Hinesley of Athens and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11am, Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Jon Appleton officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at Belview Memorial Gardens, Martinez GA. Visitation will be Monday June 25th, 2007 from 7:00pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Athens First Baptist Church.
