Madison - Katie Mae Streetman, 75, wife of the late Dolphus Edward Streetman, died Monday, December 4, 2006 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Pauline Gossip Fowler. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lillian Hawkins and Annie Hutchinson; brother: Billy Fowler.
Survivors include her children; Francine Smith of Madison, GA, Dolphus Lee Streetman of Oglethorpe, Doris Self of Bishop, Roger Streetman of Nicholson, Roy Streetman of Danielsville and Ricky Streetman of Athens; sister: Juanita Brooks of Sofferton, GA; brothers: William Fowler of Dublin, GA, Cecil Fowler of Madison County; 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 2PM at Ross Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Fowler officiating. Visitation will be held tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Pat Self, Jeffery Self, William Fowler, Ricky Streetman, Benji Streetman and Josh Streetman.
Flowers will be accepted.
