Kathy Henderson, 55, died February 27, 2010.
A native of Athens, GA, she was a daughter of Hazel Kiser Henderson of Danielsville and the late William Theron Henderson and was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Henderson. She was active for many years with Fine Finish and Advantage Behavioral Systems and was a member of Moon's Grove Baptist Church where she was a helper with Grade 1 Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 1, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Moon's Grove Baptist Church with Revs. Tony Lee and Dan Fuller officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Greg Wilkes of Colbert; brother, William T. "Trey" Henderson, III of Danielsville; nephews, Michael J. Thomas and Taylor G. Wilkes; several aunts and one uncle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Madison County Special Olympics, c/o Joan Baird, Madison County Board of Education, 800 Madison St., Danielsville, GA 30633 or Fine Finish Advisory Board, c/o Marvin White, PO Box 1021, Danielsville, GA 30633.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
