Kathy Ann Bishop, 68, of Colbert, GA, passed away on January 30, 2023.
Kathy was born on September 11, 1954, to James & Annette Sorrow in Athens, GA.
In 1971, Kathy met David Bishop at the Krystal restaurant in Athens, GA. They were married on June 10, 1973. Kathy and David went on to have two children, Tamara & Scott.
In 2017, Kathy retired from working as a Food Service Nutritionist in the School System of Madison County. After retirement, she spent her time working in the Auxiliary for The Gideons International & leading The Good News Club for Colbert Elementary School. Above all else, her favorite activity was being a Grandmother to Guinevere, Jude & Tatum Bishop.
Kathy was predeceased by Tamara Bishop. She is survived by David Bishop & Scott Bishop.
Services will be held at Colbert Baptist Church on February 5th, 2023, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Gideons International, an organization,
