Kathryn Edna Rogers

Kathryn Edna Rogers, 62, of Colbert, GA, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late John Lewis Williams and Dorothy Jane Mashburn Williams. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Williams Chandler. She was the owner of Kathryn's Family Home Daycare and member of Mt. Pleasant Community Church. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Ricky Rogers; daughter: Kimberly Rogers of Colbert; siblings: Linda Weaver, Jean Wells, Barbara Green and Ronnie Williams; granddaughter on the way, Blake Michelle Watts and grand dog Isabell. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Pastor Brent Lewis officiating. Interment will be held at Collier Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Wells, Bobby Wells, Randall Wells, Doyle Green, Ethan Taylor and Jeremy Payne. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday, December 16, 2016 at the funeral home.
