Bishop, GA - Kathryn L. Poulnott died Monday, September 28, 2009 at her residence.
She was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming on August 14, 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Evia Jackson Kaumo.
A co-owner of Diversified Automotive in Athens, she was also employed by the United States Post Office in Bishop.
Kathryn is survived by her husband, James L. Poulnott, stepchildren; Tammy Poulnott, Jimmy, Poulnott, and Jody Poulnott, sisters; Norma Ramsey and Pamela Collins, grandchildren; Heather Harvey and Jamie Poulnott, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Bill Hayes officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
