Athens, GA - Kathryn E. Hancock, 82, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008 at her residence, Morningside of Athens.
Born June 30, 1925, she was a daughter of the late E. Logan and Sarah Bray of Arnoldsville. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Horace D. Hancock; sisters, Sue Smith, Frances Dudley, Carrie Ethridge; brother, E. Paul Bray. She was retired from SunTrust Bank and was a member of Tuckston United Methodist Church.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Tuckston United Methodist Church with Rev. Wiley Carney officiating.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Judy Troup (Bob) of Spartenburg, SC, Joyce Bickley Adams (Lamar) of Colbert, GA, Nancy Godlewski (Bob) of Marietta, GA; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Co-Workers Sunday School Class of Tuckston United Methodist Church.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
