Watkinsville, Ga - Katherine Harrison Hattaway, 97, died June 16, 2008.
Born in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Bridger and Regina Mae Thompson Harrison. Her husband, Robert Sealy Hattaway and her daughter, Ann Thompson, preceded Mrs. Hattaway in death.
Mrs. Hattaway attended Georgia Southern Women's College and was a graduate of the University of Georgia where she was a member of Chi Omega. She was a retired teacher with Terrell County Schools where she took pride in sponsoring the One Act Play. She was an avid bridge player and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Albany.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay Reed (Ben) of Watkinsville; grandchildren, Edie, Susanne, Melanie, Jennifer, Kristin, Haley, Sam and Kaycee; 7 great grandchildren; niece, Betty Cozart and nephew, Fred Foster.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Bluffton GA City Cemetery.
