Katherine (Tucker) Hansford

Katherine Hansford, 82, of Bogart, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mary Stephens Tucker, husband, Richard Hansford, and sisters Minnie Denny and Mary Helen Croy. She is survived by her children, Willie J. Hansford (Margaret), Thelma Craft (Joe), Leonard Hansford (Lola), Glenda Harbert (Richard), and Chris Hansford (Billie Jean), sister, Betty Martin, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family. Katherine's caring nature was honored when she received a special certificate for saving a life by pulling a person out of their burning car.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at Lord and Stephens Oconee Chapel 2370 Hwy 53 Watkinsville GA 30677. Funeral service will be held Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oconee Memorial Park.
