Kaitlyn Taylor McCoy

Kaitlyn Taylor McCoy, cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter and niece, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024.

Born in Athens on January 28, 2004, she was the daughter of Jessie McCoy. Kaitlyn loved all things girly such as getting her hair and nails done and her daily OOTD (outfit of the day). She also enjoyed praise and worship music, being outdoors and she adored her two dogs, Ammo and Riley. Most importantly, Kaitlyn will be remembered for her beautiful smile that could turn any day from bad to good. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William J. McCoy and her uncle, Andrew McCoy.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her grandmother, Dixie McCoy; two brothers, Christopher McCoy and Cayden McCoy; aunt, Shannon McCoy; uncles, Mike McCoy (Stacey), Jeff McCoy (Gloria) and Joshua McCoy (Christy) and a host of cousins and other relatives.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 3:30 pm at Colbert Cemetery.
