Julie Landers Griffeth

Julie L. Griffeth, 57, died Monday, October 28, 2013.

A native of Athens, she was the daughter of Van W. Landers of Athens and the late Louise Waggoner Landers. In addition to her mother, Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Griffeth, son, Edwin Marshall Fuqua and sister, Kimberly L. Moore. She was an Administrative Assistant for Dr. Ronald S. Cole, DMD.

Survivors in addition to her father include her brother, Glenn and Christy McGahee of Watkinsville, sister, Barbara and Charlie Root of Watkinsville, step mother, Pat Landers and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East chapel with burial following at Tuckston United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
