Julia Rivera

Julia Rivera, 95, wife of the late Celso Rivera, died on April 16, 2023. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Pablo Martinez and Justina Torres.

Survivors include her four children: daughter, Nellie (David) Baer; three sons: Robert Rivera, Nelson (Deborah) Rivera, and Samuel (Sheila) Rivera; eleven grandchildren: Neil (Alexandria) Rivera, Wesley (Kelsey) Rivera, Andrew (Jessica) Whitehead, Meredith (TJ) Fowler, James Mauro, Jeanine Mauro (deceased), Nicole (Obed) Garcia, Julie (Tim) Souther, Christopher Rivera, Zac Rivera, and Laverne Jones; Eighteen great-grandchildren and three sisters; Irma Leguillow, Aida (Meraldo) Santos and Maria Rosa. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 9:00AM at Lord and Stephens West Chapel with Pastors Scott Sheppard and Steve Stringham officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA at 1:30PM. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
