Julia Hawkins Harris, 87, died Monday, September 27, 2014.
A native of Loganville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Lowell Hawkins and Dorothy O'Kelley Hawkins. She retired as a warehouse clerk with Nabisco and was member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church and was a longtime choir member.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Wesley "Chuck" Harris; sons: Terry Pratt of Grayson, GA, Martin L. Harris of Peoria, IL; brother: James Hawkins of Walton County, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, October 3, 2014 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Prince Avenue Baptist Church Choir.
Lord & Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
